I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, backyard weddings are slowly becoming one of my favorite types of weddings to photograph. I had this idea in my head that I should *only* be shooting weddings that were taking place at formal venues, but there is something so enticing about a backyard wedding. Maybe it’s the laid-back atmosphere, or maybe it’s the fact that I feel like I get more time with my couples. Who knows?
Syd & Brady aren’t the most talkative people you’ll meet, but on their wedding day it was very clear that they were just in their element and happy to be around the people they love. Though their wedding was simple, it was 100% them. I have never had a couple brand something as their unity ceremony, but leave it to these two to find a creative way to celebrate their marriage.
Not only was their day just super unique overall, but their wedding party was probably one of the best wedding parties I saw all season long. It’s true what they say; your wedding party can make or break your wedding day. From the first few photos to the party bus, and all the way till the end of the night; they were truly there to celebrate and party with Syd & Brady. It was so much fun getting to be on the party bus with them and getting to spend the entire day with such an incredible group of people. Honestly, Syd & Brady couldn’t be luckier.
There is so much more that I could say about this day, but I think the photos speak for themselves. This was one of those weddings that really resonated with me and I’m so happy to share it with you here :)))
