This black beach elopement was one that I had been dreaming of for the longest time. Amber and I clicked immediately and we had quite a few sessions before her wedding day. If you know Amber, you’d know she’s a total diva (in the best way, luv you chick). So I knew that she wanted to be slightly adventurous and still feel like a princess. I didn’t know how I was going to pull it off, but I knew I’d figure it out.
When we arrived, I helped her button up her dress and helped Chaz write his vows (they were written but he needed to copy them from his phone into his vow book). And then I followed behind her friend’s car to make sure she didn’t fall out (you’ll see what I’m talking about soon enough). Honestly the day was chaotic, but again, in the best way. I did so many things that I’ve never had to do and was practically Amber’s maid of honor throughout the entire day.
Being that a black beach elopement was something on my photography bucket list since we moved here. Amber + Chaz made that come true for me. I still follow along with all of their adventures and I cannot wait to see what they accomplish together throughout their marriage 🙂
Amber (and Chaz) if you’re reading this, ily and I miss you 🙂
I love her sass in this pic.
Important note: I am not afraid of looking like an absolute weirdo. Especially if it means your photos are going to look magical. Thanks to my bestie, Hailey Ann Creative for getting this funny shot.
Amber wanted to take the veil off, so obviously I had to help her with this!
Give me all the black beach elopements, please!!!
I can’t get over the romance I feel from this image.
Amber can attest, I put myself on the edge of the cliff to get this shot. Again, I WILL DO ANYTHING (ok not anything, but you get it)
We headed back down to the black beach for some romantic shots before ending their day.
