Mill City Ruins is located in downtown Minneapolis; right outside the North Loop. I had never been to the Stone Arch Bridge in the twin cities before this session (if I’m being completely honest, I didn’t really know where it was). But it did not disappoint!!! I think the Mill City Ruins are the perfect blend between industrial/urban + nature. And the light!!! HOLY WOW. It truly was the perfect location for Lauren + Brad’s engagement photos.
Funny enough, Brad proposed to Lauren on the Stone Arch Bridge, so it was almost like we went back where it all began and I just loved that. We started in the Mill City Ruins for the beginning part of the session & got some super beautiful photos of these two with the arches of the bridge & the ruins park. The light was golden & dreamy and I was basically fangirling the entire time. Brad is an engineer, so I just know he loved being down in the Mill City Ruins park because the structures down there are just so freakin cool. It was like a field trip for all of us LOL.
Up on the bridge, we got some sweet sunset photos of Lauren in her flowy dress & then we spotted some really cool spots along the street that I was like, “WAIT LET’S GO OVER HERE!!” There were just too many beautiful spots all around us and I will DEFINITELY be coming back to this location because it was too perfect not to come back!!
And without further ado, here are Lauren + Brad, AKA the cutest humans everrrrrrrr :’)
