I’d never heard of Grandad Bluff because I don’t go to Wisconsin often. Mackenzie & Travis had never been there either, so it was a first for all of us. I loved every minute of it. Grandad Bluff is nestled at the top of a big hill in Lacrosse, WI. The bluff overlooks the entire city and provides a beautiful backdrop for sunset photos. Before we went to Grandad Bluff, we stopped along the river in downtown Lacrosse. We chose a few spots right along the Mississippi River.

Kenz + Travis showed up dressed to impress. Kenz had on the cutest outfit with the most unique tights I’ve ever seen. I don’t get to do “moody” engagement photos often, so this was such a treat. Travis isn’t the kind of guy who loves photos, like most of my grooms. But you literally wouldn’t be able to tell by looking at the images in their gallery. He absolutely KILLED this session!

Grandad Bluff

We decided to head over to Grandad Bluff after we couldn’t feel our toes anymore. I was thrilled there wasn’t a whole lot of hiking involved LOL. We drove all the way up and then we just had to walk down a ramp to look out over the bluff. There were tons of people, so we had a hard time getting a clear spot, but YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!!!! Look at these two!!! You cannot tell me that they aren’t perfect together! I had so much fun with them the entire time!

Kenz + Travis saw this really cute rock that people were going over to and they requested some photos out that way. I almost fell multiple times on the way over to this spot because it was iced over. Despite that, I made it safely! Everything about this session was just perfect and I could gush for days. Instead, I’ll just share the photos with you so you can be the judge 🙂
