I was really nervous about moving to Minnesota because I knew every part of Texas and could run around any venue with ease. Transitioning from East Texas wedding photographer to Minneapolis wedding photographer was such a hard thing to do. Thankfully, we’ve still had some really amazing, adventurous couples to make up for this & we had the most incredible wedding season. Natasha + Dan are just one of those incredible couples we had the pleasure of serv
From the moment they inquired, I knew this backyard wedding would be one for the books. Their wedding was held right outside of Minneapolis in the middle of my first “real” fall season, and man was it beautiful!
We started the day with portraits of the bridal parties, who all carried different colored bouquets that they made themselves with Sola Wood Flowers AND had coordinating ties to match the color of the flowers. I was stunned because I’ve never had the opportunity to work with Sola flowers before but they were so beautiful! On top of that, the bridesmaids all wore coordinating shoes and sashes with their dresses.
The church that held the ceremony was stunning in all the best ways and had a balcony that allowed for really dramatic shots of the entire ceremony. And although we were pressed for time after the ceremony, Natasha + Dan were relaxed and easygoing. Together, they laughed and made the best of every single moment of their day. We had the best time and they had the most colorful wedding we’ve ever had the chance to photograph.
Not only did they have the most colorful backyard wedding we’ve ever seen, but they zip-lined at their wedding!! I mean, do you get any more adventurous than that?! Being a Minneapolis wedding photographer, I get a lot of really interesting and fun requests, but this was the most unique thing I have EVER seen!
Everything about this day was just perfect and I am so glad they trusted me to capture these memories for them. Natasha + Dan, you two are phenomenal & your marriage is going to be so much fun!! Congrats!
